Travel Advice and Immunisations

If you are planning to travel or work abroad, it is very important that you look after yourself and take all the necessary precautions to protect your healthy while you’re away.  Our Practice Nurse can advise you about any vaccinations that you may need.

It’s important that you contact us well in advance of your planned travel date.  Some vaccines need to be given well in advance to allow your body to develop immunity and other vaccines involve a number of doses spread over several weeks or months.  Some vaccines are free on the NHS, we charge a fee for others.

Firstly, please complete our travel health questionnaire.  With the details from the questionnaire the nurse will research what precautions are needed and then get in touch with you to discuss and advise you of the cost.   Please allow 5 working days for this process.   If you’re happy to proceed an appointment will be made and the vaccinations ordered.  Payment will be required up front.

We are not a yellow fever center so cannot vaccinate against yellow fever.
