Many administrative tasks and general enquiries can be handled efficiently by our practice staff , so there’s no need to use valuable GP appointments for these matters. Rest assured, if any queries are raised or if the GP needs to speak with you, we’ll make the necessary arrangements.
Here are some examples:
- Hospital referral updates: If you need an update on the status of your referral, your first point of call should be the relevant hospital department.
- Requesting Letters: Requests for official letters (e.g., for work, school, or travel). The receptionists will deal with these requests.
- Completion of Forms: Many forms, such as insurance forms, disability benefit applications, or other non-urgent medical certificates, can be completed by the GP without the need for a consultation. These requests can usually be handled by the reception team, who will pass the forms to the GP for completion.
