Baby Changing and Feeding

Baby-changing facilities are available in the disabled toilet.

Parents are welcome to feed their babies, including breastfeeding, anywhere in the practice.

Disabled Access

Our building is accessible with step-free entry and suitable facilities.

The front door is automatic and the whole premise is on ground level with no steps or stairs.

There is a disabled toilet near reception.

If you need additional support when visiting, please let us know.

Guide Dogs

Guide dogs and service dogs are welcome.

Hearing Loop

We have a portable hearing loop available which can be used at reception and during consultations.

Please ask at reception if you would like to use this facility.

Equality

We are committed to providing equality, fairness, and respect for all patients and staff.

We do not discriminate on the grounds of gender, gender reassignment, marital or civil partnership status, race, ethnic origin, colour, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, religion, or age.

Reasonable Adjustments

We want to make sure all patients can access our services safely and comfortably.

If you have a disability, long-term condition, communication need, or anything that makes it harder for you to use our services, we can put reasonable adjustments in place to support you.

Examples of reasonable adjustments include:

  • providing longer appointments
  • offering a quiet waiting area
  • arranging interpreters, including BSL
  • communicating in your preferred format (e.g., large print, easy-read, email, or text)
  • allowing a carer or support person to attend with you
  • arranging home visits if you are unable to attend the surgery
  • making notes on your record about specific needs (e.g., “patient needs extra time”, “patient cannot use the phone”, “patient prefers written communication”)

If you need any adjustments, please tell a member of our team.

We will record your needs on your medical record so we can support you every time you use our services.

Welsh Language

We conduct our business bilingually and are committed to treating the Welsh and English languages equally.

Interpreting or Translation Services

We are committed to making healthcare accessible for everyone.

We offer interpretation and translation services through the Wales Interpretation and Translation Service (WITS), including support for non-English speakers, British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation, and Braille translations for patients with visual impairments.

Whether you need an interpreter in person or over the phone, we can arrange this free service to ensure you fully understand your care.

Please let us know in advance if you require any assistance.
